Our location is in the beautiful countryside of Essa Township on the 9th Line just south of the 25th Sideroad, 10 minutes southwest of Barrie, and 1 mile north of the town of Ivy.
Ivy Veterinary Services offers an accredited mobile house call service for your convenience.
Dr. Cathy Emms has been accredited by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), to test for Equine Infectious Anemia in horses, export of birds, and provides Pets Certification for the export of pets to the UK, European Community, Hawaii, Australia, etc….
Our Heartworm testing includes four Diseases that are spread by ticks (Lyme disease, Anaplasmosis , Bartonella, and Erhlichia), in order to diagnose and treat these illnesses in a timely manner.
